Hand turned wooden bowls. I cut this piece from one of my Maple trees when I lived in Ohio. The piece is highly spalted and fairly soft in places. I had originally turned it to a more clunky shallow dish, but I didn’t like it. I turned it down thinner and made the dish part larger. I finished it with satin wipe-on poly. It measures 11″ at the widest and 1 3/4″ tall.
