This was my attempt at a dizzy bowl. I glued thin strips from 10 species of wood into a board. I then cut the board into rings, stacked them with an offset and glued them into a rough bowl shape. Once the glue cured I finalized the bowl shape on the lathe. I finished what was left with Ack’s Abrasive and Polish/Restoring Pastes. The bowl measures 7 1/4″ wide by 2″ tall.
