Awesome… World’s Second Longest Barrier Reef System

We are art collectors and “qualified” for this cruise because of our collection. Our first port of call took us to Roatan. Roatan is an island off the coast of Honduras. It is also the southern most leg of the world’s second largest barrier reef system. The system stretches all the way down the east coast of the Yucatan peninsula and across Honduras. Our one excursion was here in what they called a semisubmersible. It was basically a glass bottom boat that seated us about 6 feet below the surface. The day was really overcast so unfortunately the visibility wasn’t the best. But I wanted to share it anyway because it was so pretty.
