Stunning DIY Off-center Chuck Turning Wooden Pendant

I decided to clean up the shop by using some of the many small offcuts I have. They are just cluttering up the place…lol. You can view my other turnings here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list…. So I tried making a small bowl with one. It was just too punky and wouldn’t hold together. So I switched gears and used an off-center chuck I made a few months ago. I’ve been wanting to use it anyway and now seemd the perfect opportunity. I affixed a small piece of juniper to the chuck using double sided tape. I made it round and then turned a number of arcs on the piece using two different centers. This chuck works great! The design possibilities are endess! I finished it with Howard Feed-N-Wax and buffed with carnuba wax. It measures 1 1/2″ wide, 2″ long and 1/8″ thick. Enjoy. If you have questions, feel free to contact me. Thanks for watching.
