I Fell In… Love With St Maarten

We haven’t cruised since Covid so this was extra special for us. That and there were 7 people on the trip. Me, my wife, her best friend, her sister and her best friend, and my grandson and his wife who never had their honeymoon. So this was special for them as well. We all had a great time! It started with a two day road trip to Miami. This had it’s fun (or funny) moments and a few scares, but we made it there safely. I hate driving in Miami, by the way. It’s as bad as Houston! Our first port of call was Amber Cove, Dominican Republic. Parts of the movie Jurassic Park were filmed here and it looked the part. Beautiful views! Next stop was San Juan, Puerto Rico. It was nice as well. Then on to St. Maarten where we had some good laughs due to my sister-in-law’s BFF being so terrified of the iguanas. Final stop before the return was St. Thomas. Another beautiful island with gorgeous crystal clear blue water! Most of us went snorkeling here and it was very nice! Upon returning to port in Miami we began another two day trek home. It wasn’t so bad because with this many silly people there is always something to laugh about. Enjoy! I hope you find this entertaining and/or informative.
