Creating Beauty From Diversity

I was finally able to get back on the lathe. See more of my turnings here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list…. I took an old chunk of Mesquite firewood and turned a hollow form. I decided to make a lid for it and used a piece of curly Walnut. I turned a finial from a spalted Hackberry limb. I was going to dye it, but it was too pretty for that. Finished with gloss Deft lacquer. Enjoy. If you have questions, feel free to contact me. Thanks for watching.
