Turning a Stabilized Spalted Sycamore Bowl

Check out my other turnings: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list…. I started on this bowl back in June. It was sent to me by Kim Tippin is heavily spalted and got really punky before I got to it. So I stabilized it with Cactus Juice after rough turning to about 1″ thick. Even then is took up 2/3 of a gallon of resin! It was too big for my toaster oven so I used an old, but still functional gas grill. And of course I didn’t cook it long enough. And then other things came up, etc. etc. But I eventually got back to it and finished it. The finish is Howard Feed N Wax. Enjoy. If you have questions that I didn’t answer, feel free to contact me.
