Large Juniper Salad Bowl – And a Giftaway

My first attempt to get a promised salad bowl was a failure: https://youtu.be/gd770faMDDk. Several years ago a friend gave me an 11′ Ashe Juniper tree. It was roughly 26 in diameter, but Juniper is VERY craggy. So in an attempt to get her the salad bowl I promised her, I decided to try this method. I added a thin board of walnut to make sure I got the height I was after for a salad bowl. I’m very happy with how this came out. Finished with 5 coats of pure Tung Oil. Enjoy.
