How to Ruin a Beautiful Platter – Made From Pallet Wood

Continuing with the Turning on The Cheap theme (playlist: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVLyP…). I decided to show how easy it was to use free wood from a pallet to turn a beautiful platter. As you will see in the video I tried a number of times to completely ruin this platter. Thankfully I salvaged it in the end. I used simple Rit fabric dye for the colors and they looked great. All in all, I’m happy with the result. Finished with Deft Gloss Lacquer and buffed with Ack’s Abrasive and Polish/Restoring Pastes. Enjoy.
