Frugal Vacuum Chuck Part 1 – How I Make Faceplates

I bought the Frugal Vacuum Chuck kit at SWAT a few years ago and finally got around to making them. In this first part I make a Corian faceplate. The kit it designed to be used with commercial faceplates, but since I have a Beall 1 1/4″ x 8tpi tap I prefer to make my own when I can. Part 2 covers the making of the vacuum chuck itself.
