Arizona Ash – Natural Edge Bowl

The tree this came from came down on a house during a storm in a town just north of me year before last. The woman’s aunt knows I work with wood and asked me to haul as much of as I could away. So I loaded up the back of the truck with the largest pieces from the trunk. This is the first piece I’ve turned from it. It is one of my favorite pieces to date. Maybe because the bark stayed on.
