Turned Gnome – Hackberry

I was commissioned to turn another gnome. This one a bit larger. I used a piece of Hackberry that I previously tried to turn a rolling pin from. Once it was turned I painted it according to the customer’s request and added the beard. I applied three coats of Defy semi-gloss lacquer as a finish.
