Bradford Pear Natural Edge Bowl – AKA How to simulate bark

I acquired a couple of Bradford Pear logs just over a year ago and decided to try one since I love the way Bradford Pear turns. The tree was downed at such a time that the bark is holding well so I was aiming to finish this one with the bark on. An oops made that impossible so I decided to show how I simulate bark in such a circumstance. I hope you like it.
