Segmented Corian Bowl – AKA: What happens if you ignore glue temperature instructions
November 16, 2019
I started this segmented bowl as the Giveaway item for when I hit 1000 subscribers. I did not expect a record tying cold front to blow in and I have too many air gaps in the doors for the shop heater to be very effective. As a result the temperature in the shop never got above 60 and mostly stayed between 50 and 58 all week. What would have been a beautiful bowl ended in utter failure. Oh well, back to the drawing board. Some turners don’t like to show their failures, but lessons are lessons and we all can learn from them. Thanks for watching.
